Printing to Windows NT LPD Server from SUN OS 4.1.4 May Not Process C/R

SYMPTOMS

When you print to a Windows NT LPD printer server from a SUN OS 4.1.4 client, print jobs may not properly wrap at the end of a line, resulting in "stair stepped" output. For example, the output may look like the following:

   This is line one

           This is line two

                   This is line three

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 4.
