A patch has been released for the following Membership Server problems:
- The following error may occur when you try to
create a group or
organizational unit in the directory information tree (DIT):
Error 0x80070044 "The name limit for the local computer network adapter
card was exceeded."
LDAP service reports Event ID 2502 "DIT Full"
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) subtree searches fail
when
you try to search 200 or more containers or groups.
When using Membership Directory Manager (MDM), a "Specified base DN
not
found" error message appears when you add access control entries (ACEs)
or members to a group when there are approximately 250 or more groups
in a membership instance.
The Internet Information Server times out during DIT caching at
system
startup, when there are large numbers of groups in the directory
service.
Enumeration of containers for groups only goes one level deep.
An access violation occurs in the Inetinfo.exe process when adding
an
extended number of groups to a security descriptor (user ACL, or access
control list) stored on an LDAP directory object.
