Mshtml.dll Error When Closing Window Before Rendering Finishes

SYMPTOMS

When you use Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 to run a Web program using script-generated windows, you may receive the following error message if you close a window before the window is completely rendered:

Invalid page fault in MSHTML.DLL at 0137:704926f0

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain and install Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2. You can obtain Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2 from the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx)
