SUMMARY

This article describes how to locate and start the FrontPage Server Administrator program.

MORE INFORMATION

In Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, use Windows Explorer and locate the directory where FrontPage was installed. The default directory is C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage. In that directory you will see a shortcut to the FrontPage Server Administrator. In Windows NT 3.51, there is a program item created in the Microsoft FrontPage group of Program Manager. Double-click the shortcut or program item to start the program.

The FrontPage Server Administrator is used for installing, uninstalling, and maintaining the FrontPage Server Extensions. The name of the program on disk is Fpsrvwin.exe.

There is also a command-line version of the server administrator that is suitable for batch administration. It can be found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\bin\fpsrvadm.exe
