SUMMARY

This article describes how to change the color of an item within a Marquee tag.

To create a Marquee tag in FrontPage 98, open a page in FrontPage Editor, point to Active Elements on the Insert menu, and then click Marquee.

The Marquee tag is supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 2.0 and later; it is not supported by Netscape Navigator.

MORE INFORMATION

The Marquee Properties dialog box contains a drop-down list for selecting the marquee color.
  • To show the Marquee Properties dialog box in FrontPage Editor, right-click the marquee and click Marquee Properties on the shortcut menu.

If you select Default for the marquee background color, the marquee background will be the same color as the page background.
  • To change the color of the text in a marquee, select the marquee and click the Text Color button. Or, select the marquee and click Font on the Format menu. Change the font color using the Color drop-down box in the Font dialog box.
It is not possible to place a background image in a marquee or to make a marquee transparent.
