SYMPTOMS

If you remove Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or Microsoft Word 97 and choose to remove shared components, you may receive the following error message when you attempt to start Works Calendar:
Calendar can't find one or more of the files it needs to run. Run the Calendar setup program again to install the missing files. If the Calendar still doesn't open run the Internet Explorer setup program again to install the missing files.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Works Calendar shares some system files with Internet Explorer and Word 97. When you remove Internet Explorer or Word 97 and choose to remove shared components, certain files that Works Calendar needs to run may be removed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall Works Calendar.

If you continue to receive the error message after you reinstall Works Calendar, reinstall Internet Explorer or Word 97.
