FIX: Right-Clicking Item in Find Results View Fails in Gallery

SYMPTOMS

Right-clicking an item, found by using the Find button of the Component Gallery, causes the following error message to occur:
OSHARED is not a function, procedure or program.

RESOLUTION

The October 1998 Visual FoxPro 6.0 Gallery and FoxPro Foundation Classes (FFC) update addresses this problem. You can download the update from the following Web address:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

This bug was corrected in the October 1998 Visual FoxPro 6.0 Gallery and FFC updates.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Open the Component Gallery and click catalogs.
  2. Double-click the "VFP Main" folder in the right-hand window pane.
  3. Press the Find button (the binoculars icon) that is on the toolbar. The Find Component window appears. Type buttons in the Containing text box and then click the Find button.
  4. Right-click any item appearing in the right-hand window and the error occurs.
