SYMPTOMS

The security descriptor on directories on a Services for Macintosh volume continually increase each time permissions are viewed or set using the Mac Volume extension in File Manager or from a Macintosh client computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
