VBRun300.dll is the run-time engine used by applications developed in Microsoft Visual Basic version 3.0. Without this run-time engine installed, errors will occur as follows:

Windows 95 or Windows 98

Cannot find VBRUN300.DLL. Windows needs this file to run C:\Project1.exe.

Windows NT

Cannot find VBRUN300.DLL.

After clicking the OK button, the following error displays:
Cannot find file C:\Project1.exe (or one of its components). Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.

NOTE: The filename shown in the error message is application specific.

You should copy the .dll file into the System directory on the computer where the Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 application will be run.
