Euro Currency Not Available in Windows NT WTS Character Sets

SYMPTOMS

In 1999, countries in the European Community (EC) will begin to use a single currency named the euro. The euro has an associated symbol called the euro currency symbol. There currently is not a keystroke in Windows NT Terminal Server Edition that will map to the euro currency symbol.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 4.
