Incorrect Confirmations for Faxes Sent by Small Business Server

SYMPTOMS

When you send a fax from a Small Business Server Windows 95 client computer with e-mail notification enabled, the confirmations always display zero pages sent, regardless of how many pages were sent successfully.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or the individual software update. For information on obtaining the latest service pack, please go to:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Small Business Server versions 4.0 and 4.0a. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
