SUMMARY

This article describes how to create a new web in Microsoft FrontPage 2000.

Create a New Web in Microsoft FrontPage 2000

  1. On the Start menu, point to Programs, and then click Microsoft FrontPage.
  2. On the File menu, point to New and then click Web.
  3. In the New dialog box, select the type of web you want.

NOTE: If you choose a wizard, the wizard will prompt you to answer a series of questions about your new web. If you choose "One page web" or a template, your web will be created without any further prompting.
  4. Under "Specify the location of the new web:", enter the new location of your FrontPage web.
  5. Click OK.

NOTE: If you do not have a local Web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions, a disk-based web will be created.
