Article ID: 2000163 - Last Review: June 27, 2009 - Revision: 1.0 Workspace permissions in Project Web Access that are based on RBS structure are not set as expectedSymptomIn Microsoft Project Web Access, when a project is published and a Project Workspace is created by a project manager, other project managers at the same level in the Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS) structure do not have access to the newly created workspace. CauseOn project creation, Microsoft Project Server is unable to grant permissions to users who have the same RBS level as the project manager who initially published the project plan and created the workspace. Project Server will only set permissions for those users who are under the RBS level of the publishing project manager. ResolutionIn order to resolve this issue, use one of the following methods: Method 1 - Edit the project permissions in the category
Method 2 - Manually edit Security Categories for each user
