Error when trying to calculate payroll in Microsoft Office Accounting (MOA) UK, the service is unavailable

Symptoms

When trying to calculate payroll in Microsoft Office Accounting (MOA) UK the service is unavailable or you receive the error "No current service plan."

Cause

The Payroll service for Microsoft Office Accounting (UK) is no longer offered.

Resolution

There are several options for payroll service:

1. Leverage your chartered accountant

2. Use a payroll service or another payroll software program

  To export a list of all your Employees, you can do the following:

1)            Launch Office Accounting

2)            Go to Employees menu, scroll to Employee Lists and click on Employees.

3)            On the View menu, scroll to Filter By and click All (skip this step if you only want currently Active Employees)

4)            On the View menu, click Add/Remove content.

5)            Add and remove any fields that would like to appear in Employee list. 

6)            Click OK

7)            Click Export to Excel Icon on the menu task bar.

8)           Save the file. 

 

Payroll data for the Employees can be found reviewing the various reports available by going to Reports menu, scrolling to Employees and Payroll); specifically the following Employee Reports provide specific details you may need:  Employee P11 Working Sheet, Employee P11 (PAYE), Employee P11 (NIC), P32 Payment Record

3.  Use Mamut Payroll http://www.mamut.com/oa/payroll
