SYMPTOMS

When you search Help for information about toolbar or menu animations, no information is available.

You can find some information about menu animation in the Customize dialog box for toolbars. To see information about toolbar animation:
  1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars and click Customize.
  2. In the Customize dialog box, click the Options tab.
  3. Right-click the Menu Animations box, and then click What's This?
You can also click the Help button in the lower-left corner of the Options tab. Clicking this button displays the Microsoft Office Assistant. Then, click Help with this feature.

To animate toolbars:
  1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars and click Customize.
  2. In the Customize dialog box, click the Options tab.
  3. In the Menu animations list, click an animation type. To disable animation, click (None).
NOTE: Toolbar animation is a global setting for all Microsoft Office programs. Changes that you make to the animation in one program affect the animation effects in all Microsoft Office programs.
