Unable to Change Admin Password Using Sysprep

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft System Preparation Tool, at the end of the mini-setup wizard, you may get the message that one or more problems occurred installing Windows NT. When the log file is viewed, the following error is logged in %SystemRoot%\Minlog.txt:
Warning
Setup was unable to change the password for the user account Administrator because of the following error:
SamChangePasswordUser returned status c000006a.

CAUSE

This problem is caused by the administrator password on the master system being nonblank.

RESOLUTION

The Administrator password on the master system must be blank if it is to be changed by using the mini-setup wizard.
