The following information is provided to help system administrators manage the display of the Browser Choice update screen in managed personal computing environments that are under a Volume Licensing program.    

            Registry key:

                         HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\BrowserChoice 

             Value name:

                        Enable

             Value type:

                        DWORD 

             Possible values:

                        1          Display the Browser Choice update (default)

                        0          Do not display the Browser Choice update

 

NOTE: For Windows XP 64-bit machines, the registry key is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\BrowserChoice
