Support for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) ends on July 12, 2011. To continue receiving security updates for Windows, make sure you're running Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 (SP2). For more information, refer to this Microsoft web page: Support is ending for some versions of Windows
You install the Terminal Services role on a computer that is running an x86-based version of Windows Server 2008.
You create a terminal server session from a remote computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista.
In the terminal server session, a printer is redirected by using the Terminal Services Easy Print (TS Easy Print) feature.
You use an application to print documents to the redirected printer. This application customizes one or more settings in the printing preferences dialog box.
You try to print a document by using this application. In the printing preferences dialog box, you click Cancel. Then, you click Print to print the document.
In this scenario, the printer does not print the document.
This issue occurs because the Remote Desktop Connection utility does not transfer the required printer settings to the redirected printer when you click Cancel in the printing preference dialog box.
To resolve this issue, install this hotfix on the affected remote clients that are running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista.

Service Pack 1 is integrated into the release version of Windows Server 2008. Therefore, RTM milestone files apply only to Windows Vista. RTM milestone files have a 6.0.0000.xxxxx version number.
The MANIFEST files (.manifest) and the MUM files (.mum) that are installed for each environment are listed separately in the "Additional file information for Windows Server 2008 and for Windows Vista" section. MUM files and MANIFEST files, and the associated security catalog (.cat) files, are extremely important to maintain the state of the updated components. The security catalog files, for which the attributes are not listed, are signed with a Microsoft digital signature.
