You run a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based OS image on a device. The image supports the SimSun & NSimSun catalog item. In this situation, the character whose Unicode is 0x1E3F is displayed incorrectly as a square block.

This problem occurs because the SimSun font parses the character incorrectly.

A supported software update is now available from Microsoft as Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Platform Builder Monthly Update (August 2010).
