MORE INFORMATION
Some features in Microsoft Excel 2000 are not available when you use a shared workbook. In a shared workbook, you cannot write, change views, record, or assign macros. However, you can record a macro that is stored in another workbook that is not shared. You can run macros that were created before the workbook was shared, but if you run a macro that includes an operation that is unavailable, the macro stops at that point.
REFERENCESFor more information about limitations in using shared workbooks, click Microsoft Excel Help on the Help menu, type limitations of shared workbooks in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.
