WD2000: Picture Does Not Appear on Envelopes or Labels Tab

When you click Envelopes and Labels on the Tools menu, the picture, WordArt object, or AutoShape in your return or delivery address may not appear on either the Envelopes or Labels tab.

On the Layout tab of the Format Picture dialog box, when you set the picture wrapping style to anything other than In line with text, the picture, WordArt object, or AutoShape does not show in any of the address boxes on the Envelopes and Labels tabs.

NOTE: When you select or clear the Use return address check box on the Labels tab, you can switch between the return or delivery address.

Use one of the following methods to change the wrapping style of the picture, object, or AutoShape so that it is in line with the text and appears on the Envelopes and Labels tabs.

NOTE: After you change the wrapping style, you may need to adjust the position of the picture, object, or AutoShape.

Method 1: For a Picture or WordArt Object

1. Click to select the picture or WordArt object.
2. On the Format menu, click Picture or Object.
3. On the Layout tab, under Wrapping style, click the box labeled In line with text, and then click OK.

Method 2: For an AutoShape

1. Click to select the AutoShape.
2. On the Edit menu, click Cut.
3. Click where you want the shape to appear, and then, on the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
4. In the Paste Special dialog box, under As, select Picture, and then click OK.
5. With the picture selected, on the Format menu, click Picture.
6. On the Layout tab, under Wrapping style, click the box labeled In line with text, and then click OK.
