MSCS: Problems with Spooler Resource

SYMPTOMS

On a computer running Microsoft Cluster Server, when a job begins printing, a failure on the IP address makes the spooler resource fail over and the print job does not restart until the spooler resource is taken offline and brought back online on the same node.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
