Summary

An administrator installing Office on Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition, who wants to change the Outlook Messaging mode from "Corporate or Workgroup" (CW) to "Internet Mail Only" (IMO) must update the TermSrvr.mst transform in two different locations - once in the feature tree dialog box and again in the Outlook Installation Options dialog box.

More information

When using the Microsoft Office Custom Installation Wizard (CIW) with the TermSrvr.mst transform, there are two dialogs where the administrator sets the Outlook Messaging mode. The settings are in:
  • Set Feature Installation States 7 of 17
    - Microsoft Office
      - Microsoft Outlook for Windows
        - Outlook Messaging
          - [H]Outlook Corporate/Workgroup Support
          - [H]Outlook Internet Only Mail Support

  • Customize Outlook Installation Options 14 of 17
Customize Outlook profiles and account information
       Configuration types
          Corporate or Workgroup Settings
          Internet Only Settings

Administrators must make both settings consistent.
