Additional informationIn addition to the files that are collected and listed in the "Information that is collected" section, this troubleshooter can detect one or more of the following situations:
- Client (AX32.exe) and server (AX32Serv.exe) file version mismatches.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX hotfixes that are applied if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is running, and the SysHotfixManifest Class is present on the system.
- Microsoft Dynamics AX Layer and Version information if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is running, and the SysHotfixManifest Class is present on the system.
- We recommend that you run the diagnostic from a computer that has the Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.dll installed.
- Currently, the troubleshooter reads configuration values from the current configuration within the Microsoft Dynamics AX Configuration Utility and the Microsoft Dynamics AX Server Configuration Utility to correctly determine the AOS instance and SQL Server Instances. However, the troubleshooter does not work with .AXC files (Dynamics Configuration Files).
