SYMPTOMS

If you install the Outlook 98 E-mail Attachment Security Update on a computer system using Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and then upgrade to Outlook 2000, you may receive one of the following error messages during the upgrade:

Can't find \\officerel2\eng9.rel\2020_prm_crxs_eng\

-or-

Setup failed because of an internal error.

-or-

Internal Error 2908.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1

-or-

Installation ended prematurely because of an error.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you installed the Outlook 98 E-mail Attachment Security Update on your computer without restarting the computer before upgrading to Outlook 2000.
