SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You create a new folder in Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Group Chat Client. Then, you add a chat room to the newly created folder.
  • You select the folder, you click View, you point to Show Columns, and then you click Chat Room/Contact.
In this scenario, you receive an unhandled System.NullReferenceException exception.

To fix this problem, install the following cumulative update:
