When you receive a message from a Microsoft Exchange Server computer using
the POP3 Internet Protocol, the message text may be wrapped after 72
characters. This behavior can be observed when the Message Encoding is set
to MIME and the "Provide Message Body as plain Text" option is enabled. RESOLUTIONMicrosoft Exchange Server 5.5To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server version 5.5. This hotfix and later service packs resolve this problem for non-cluster Exchange Server environments. If you install this hotfix or a later service pack, you do not have to follow the steps in the "Workaround" section for non-cluster environments. However, this fix does not resolve the problem in Exchange Server cluster environments. If you are running Exchange Server in a cluster environment and you experience the problem in the "Symptoms" section, apply the hotfix, and then if the problem is not resolved, follow the steps in the "Workaround" section.
