When you copy text that includes tracked changes from one Word document and paste the text into another Word document, the pasted text no longer contains the indications of revisions that were made in the original document (underlining, bolding, strikethrough, or font color). For example, this problem occurs when you do the following:

To resolve the problem described in this article, obtain
and install the latest Microsoft Word 97 update from

IMPORTANT NOTE: Microsoft Word 97 post-service
release fixes are cumulative. The latest update contains
all of the fixes since Service Release 2. If you install
the latest update for Word 97, you do not need to install
