WD2000: Scaling/Clipping Problems Using Pages Per Sheet

SYMPTOMS

When you print a document using more than one page per sheet (on the File menu, click Print to set Pages per sheet), the printed text may be reduced from the expected size and/or some text may be clipped or missing from the end of the printed document.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, change your printer's default paper size to match the paper size you set in the Page Setup dialog box (on the File menu).

To set the default paper size for your printer, do the following:
  1. On the File menu, click Print.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Click the Paper tab to set the default paper size.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
