CAUSE

You may receive no e-mail notification when the Web page changes for any of the following reason:
  • You have configured the e-mail notification to use a non-SMTP mail server such as Hotmail.
  • You have specified an invalid SMTP server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, check the SMTP configuration information or specify a valid SMTP server. To check your SMTP configuration:
  1. Start Internet Explorer 5.
  2. On the Favorites menu, click Organize Favorites.
  3. Click the site that you selected to view offline, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Download tab. The When this page changes, send e-mail to section contains the SMTP configuration information.
If you are unsure of your SMTP mail server address, contact your administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
