SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You log on to Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2. You make changes in the Personal information manager section in the Personal tab of Options.
  • You log on to Office Communicator Web Access 2007 R2 by using the same account. You click Options, and then you change the Change background Color when the writer changes option in the General tab.
In this scenario, you find that the changes you made in the Personal information manager section in Office Communicator 2007 R2 are lost.

RESOLUTION

To fix this problem, install the following cumulative update:
983469 Description of the cumulative update package for Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Communicator Web Access: July 2010
