When you print to an envelope, Word may not print in the correct orientation, print entirely on the envelope, or print on the correct side of the envelope. Also, it may print the envelope upside down (180-degree rotation). This problem is most likely to occur with ink-jet printers such as the Hewlett-Packard DeskJet, the Epson Stylus, or the Canon BubbleJet. These problems may be experienced when you use the envelope feature (on the Tools menu, click Envelopes and Labels), or when you use the Envelope Wizard (on the File menu, click New; on the Letters & Faxes tab, click Envelope Wizard). The Feed Method in Microsoft Word is incorrectly set for your printer.
WORKAROUND
To change the Feed Method, follow these steps:
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONThe change you make by using the workaround listed in this article is a permanent change and remains until you change the Feed Method to a different setting. However, if you find that this setting does not remain on your system, the Windows Registry may be damaged.
