FIX: Cannot Debug HTC (Internet Explorer 5 Script Behaviors) with Visual InterDev 6.0

SYMPTOMS

When attempting to debug a Web page that references a DHTML Behavior (.HTC file), the .HTC might not appear in the list of running documents and cannot be debugged through the Visual InterDev 6.0 debugger.

RESOLUTION

Install Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 3.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
