SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a computer that has Office Communicator 2007 R2 installed.
  • You have double-byte character set (DBCS) characters installed on the computer. 
 In this scenario, you cannot input DBCS characters into the password field when you try to log on to Office Communicator 2007 R2. 

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the following update:
