When you log off a computer running Windows NT, the following error message may be displayed:
The roaming profile could not be written to the server (error 5) Access Denied
This problem may occur if your profile path is configured for a Novell NetWare-compatible server and you do not have the Create permission to the parent folder containing your profile. If you modify the desktop during the login session and then log off without the proper permissions to the folder location of the current profile, the changes cannot be saved and the error message is displayed.
