When you attempt to view the properties of your CD-R or CD-RW drive in Windows Explorer, you may receive the following error message:
EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL at 0177:5f40492c.


To resolve this issue, install Adaptec DirectCD 2.5d (Dcd25dup.exe). For additional information about DirectCD, visit the following Adaptec Web site:
To work around this issue, view the properties of the drive using the icon installed by DirectCD on the right side of the taskbar. Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support. This contact information may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this third-party contact information.

This program may not work correctly under this version of Windows. For more information about this program, contact its manufacturer or your software vendor.
If you do not want to see this message every time your computer starts, remove DirectCD from the StartUp folder until an upgrade is available from Adaptec.
