INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • You open a form that contains expression boxes in a SharePoint 2007 site by using a web browser that is not Windows Internet Explorer. In this situation, a line break is added to each expression box.

  • When you click the Font Color button to change the font color of text on a SharePoint 2007 site, the page immediately scrolls back to the top. This only happens when the text is entered in a rich text box on a form rendered by InfoPath Forms Services (IPFS).

  • There is no site collection provisioned in the root of a web application on a SharePoint 2007 site.  You try to resolve the name of a person by using the contact picker control on a form that is rendered by InfoPath Forms Services or on a workflow initialization form. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
    unknown error
Note After you install the hotfix package that is described in this article, you are no longer required to create the root site collection to avoid this error message.
