SYMPTOMS

The SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) SpaceAvailableInMB property should return the amount of disk resource that is allocated and unused in operating system files implementing a database and database transaction log storage. In the retail version of SQL Server 7.0, it incorrectly returns the amount of disk resource that is allocated and used in files making up a database.
