SYMPTOMS
Page 425 of the Windows 98 Resource Kit states that you can set Disk Defragmenter not to allow a screen saver to start if Disk Defragmenter is running. If you follow the steps, the screen saver may still start when Disk Defragmenter is running.
RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve
problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk. To cause Disk Defragmenter not to allow a screen saver to start if Disk Defragmenter is running:
