Repadmin.exe é uma ferramenta do Microsoft Windows 2000 Resource Kit, disponível na pasta Support Tools do CD-ROM do Windows 2000. Trata-se de uma interface de linha de comando para a replicação do Active Directory. Essa ferramenta oferece uma excelente interface em ambientes internos da replicação do Active Directory, sendo de grande utilidade para solucionar problemas relacionados. Este artigo descreve o uso básico da ferramenta Repadmin.exe.

Digitar repadmin em um prompt de comando exibe a seguinte lista de opções: 
Usage: repadmin <cmd> <args> [/u:{domínio\\usuário}] [/pw:{senha|*}]

     /sync <Naming Context> <Dest DSA> <Source DSA UUID> [/force] [/async

Note:- <Dest DSA>, <Source DSA>, <DSA> : Names of the appropriate servers
       <Naming Context> is the Distinguished Name of the root of the NC
              Example: DC=My-Domain,DC=Microsoft,DC=Com
Por exemplo, para saber para qual controlador de domínio uma alteração foi replicada, digite a seguinte linha
repadmin /showmeta "CN=larryli,OU=DesignTeam,OU=Development,DC=ntbeta,DC=microsoft,DC=com" Nome do CD
em queNome do CD é o nome do controlador de domínio em que você deseja verificar os parâmetros replicados.

A saída desse comando é similar a:

Ao executar esse comando nos controladores de domínio, um administrador pode definir se todos eles possuem os mesmos valores replicados. Se um controlador de domínio em especial não tiver o mesmo valor, e a alteração tiver sido feita há algum tempo, você pode começar investigando por que o computador ainda não recebeu a alteração.
