If a drive maps to a computer with a Korean name, you may receive a general protection fault (Trap 14) error message. This only happens with some Korean characters. For example, if you toggle to the hangul input mode and type "ghdgusdn" the problem occurs. But if you toggle to the hangul input mode and type "dlgodhr" the problem does not occur.

The Urlmon.dll file is replaced when you install Internet Explorer 5. Urlmon.dll is not correctly translating certain Korean characters.

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer service pack that contains this hotfix.
