SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the Advanced Find option to add members to a marketing list in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you receive the following error message:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

The number of the members that you try to add is larger than the number of members that the view page can display.
The members are shared with the user who creates the marketing list.
Your sharing rights differ from the sharing rights of the user who creates the marketing list.
