Summary

Microsoft FrontPage Express is an optional tool in the original release of Microsoft Windows 98. However, in Windows 98 Second Edition, FrontPage Express is not available to be installed during a custom Setup. Also, you cannot use the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel to install FrontPage Express after Windows 98 Second Edition is installed.

More information

If FrontPage Express is installed on your Windows 98-based computer before you upgrade to Windows 98 Second Edition, FrontPage Express remains installed and fully functional.

If you want to install FrontPage Express after you install Windows 98 Second Edition, it is available as part of the Internet Explorer 5 setup. However, FrontPage Express is not available with Internet Explorer 5.5 setup.
