When you open a Web site, and then click a URL link on the Web page after several seconds of inactivity and you are connected to the Internet using a proxy server, Internet Explorer 5 may stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
This issue can occur if Internet Explorer 5 is not able to properly handle the Windows NT challenge/response authentication process of the Proxy server when you enable Access Control.

To resolve this issue, use any of the following methods.
