If you install the Microsoft Personal Web Server 4.0 after you install FrontPage 2000 or Office 2000, the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.1 will be overwritten to the earlier version 1.5.

Method 1: Run a Check and Fix
Use the FrontPage 2000 or Office 2000 Setup program to repair the FrontPage 2000
or Office 2000 installation. You may also initiate this action by clicking
Detect and Repair on the

After you install the FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions on Microsoft Personal Web Server 4.0, MDAC version 1.5 should not limit or break any ASP pages that contain database regions.
