SUMMARY

Although the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) file format does support transparency and interlacing, FrontPage 2000 does not offer the option of making a PNG file transparent or interlaced.

MORE INFORMATION

To alter the transparency or interlacing of a PNG file, you will need to use a separate graphics program or convert the image to a GIF in the Picture Properties dialog box of FrontPage 2000. Note that Microsoft Image Composer 1.5 can edit and save PNG files, and can alter the transparency values for a PNG file.
