This article was previously published under Q234804 SYMPTOMS When you perform an Administrative installation of a
Microsoft Office 2000 family product, you are not prompted for your company
name or your CD Key. Also, you are not prompted for a location to place the
Administrative installation, and the Administrative installation has been
placed on your hard disk. CAUSE This problem occurs when you try to perform an
Administrative installation from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
version of one of the Microsoft Office 2000 family products. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, purchase a retail copy of the
Microsoft Office 2000 family product along with the appropriate number of
licenses. You must have one license for each user who is using a copy of a
Microsoft Office 2000 family product from an Administrative installation point.
MORE INFORMATION The following OEM Microsoft Office 2000 family products are
not designed to perform an Administrative installation:
