When you press the BACKSPACE key (or click Back) in a text input box on a Web page and the page is not active for a brief period of time, the browser moves back through the browser history.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because of a timing issue in Internet Explorer.
RESOLUTIONA supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer service pack that contains this hotfix.
