SYMPTOMS

You can not find a message store object, folder object property, or registry setting that corresponds to "Allow upgrade to large tables" option for Personal Folders.

CAUSE

No exposed property currently exists for setting this property through any application programming interface (API) or object model.

RESOLUTION

The "Allow upgrade to large tables" option must be set manually.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

Most of the profile properties of the Personal Folders can be set using MAPI. The "Allow upgrade to large tables" option is not set. The following Personal Folders profile properties are exposed to the programmer as defined in "MSPST.H" in the May, 1999 Platform SDK:

  3. Click Show Profiles.
  4. Select a profile that contains "Personal Folders" and click Properties.
  5. Select "Personal Folders" from the list and click Properties.
