onChange Event Responds Incorrectly

SYMPTOMS

You may experience unexpected behavior, and onChange may not perform as expected in Internet Explorer when you use the TAB key. When you use the TAB key, onChange in Internet Explorer may display the following symptoms:
  • The expected event occurs twice instead of once.
  • The proper element may no longer have focus as expected.

RESOLUTION
